Hugh Ross et al have an interesting website concerning Astrophysics, which is continuously updated. The site is titled "Reasons to believe" the website is http://www.reasons.org/.
This group also has an internet station called "Public Square Radio" (not to be confused with Dave Zanotti's excellent site.)

General Science

Chapter 7 This chapter takes the concepts from the last 2 chapters (force, energy and work) and ties them together in the simple machines. The main thing to remember is that they all work be expanding the distance on the effort side to increase the effecteve force ont he opposite side.

Many of you are already familiar with the Dropbox website. I will be posting the Powerpoint presentations and worksheets for each of my subjects as we advance from chapter to chapter. If you wish to use this service, please give me your name and email address.

Chemistry

We are now covering Chapter 5. We have been "stoiciometried" to death, but wait: there's more. You can blame A. Avogadro. This chapter on gases will explain where we got so much info on molecular weights even before we understood molecules themselves.
